Role Description

This on-site role, based in Canton, OH, is for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant who will provide critical support in the delivery of pediatric care. Responsibilities include administrative tasks such as scheduling and patient documentation, as well as clinical duties such as taking patient histories, recording vital signs, administering vaccines, performing tests (e.g., lead testing), and assisting with developmental screenings and behavioral health. Collaboration with the clinical team to deliver holistic care and provide support to families is a core aspect of this role.


Qualifications

  • Clinical skills, including taking vital signs, administering vaccinations, and performing basic laboratory tests.
  • Documenting patient information accurately and maintaining medical records.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members effectively.
  • Proficiency in assisting with developmental and behavioral health screenings in pediatric care settings.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
  • Relevant certifications: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certification.
  • Experience working with underserved populations and knowledge of community health resources is desirable.
  • Bilingual abilities and familiarity with pediatric electronic health records are advantageous.
