Compass Memorial Healthcare is a critical access hospital that is fully equipped with the latest technology so we can improve the health of the community and patients we serve. Primary Functions
This role involves assessing patients' physical conditions, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy to help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical abilities and limitations.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.

• Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to enhance recovery.

• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and home care strategies.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes.

• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices and techniques.

Experience

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.

• Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.

• Experience in pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, acute care, or home community care is highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential.

• Familiarity with various physical therapy systems and techniques is a plus.
