Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy and proper authorization before processing payments
- Enter invoice data accurately into the accounting system ensuring correct GL accounts are assigned
- Request and reconcile vendor statements to maintain timely and accurate payments
- Support month-end closing tasks including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Review daily income and deposits for accurate recording and matching with bank statements
- Balance and reconcile credit card transactions to address discrepancies promptly
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for invoices and financial documents
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements through systematic document filing
