We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities, including inspections and repairs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and inventory.
- Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring quality finishes and adherence to timelines.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients or residents during maintenance tasks.
- Lead small teams or supervise junior staff during specific projects or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
- Electrical experience is essential; familiarity with Ohmmeters is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including schematics.
- Previous supervisory experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous.
