Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS.
- Mix and serve drinks responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties, while managing POS operations efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or catering functions, ensuring smooth service flow
- Engage with guests to promote sales of menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance their experience and increase revenue
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, retail math, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, strong basic math skills are essential for accurate transactions
- Previous fine dining, nightclub, or banquet experience will be advantageous; serving and food handling knowledge is important
- Demonstrated ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume shifts in fast-paced settings
