Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties across various areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness in commercial and industrial environments by removing trash, disinfecting surfaces, and restocking supplies..
- Utilize specialized cleaning techniques for residential painting prep or industrial cleaning projects when required.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health standards.
- Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and maintenance reports to support efficient operations.
Experience
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in commercial, industrial, or residential settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in cleaning techniques including floor care such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks and basic repair procedures enhances effectiveness in this role.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.
