What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate Temp/Full Time position at Mardens?
Marden's is a family-owned company with 13 retail stores and 3 warehouses all located in Maine.
We specialize in finding and purchasing overstocks, closeouts, insurance losses, liquidations, salvage deals, discontinued items, and other valuable deals from across the country, which we then sell at discounted prices.

Essential Job Functions
- Receiving and processing shipments of merchandise
- Learning our operation of receiving, storing, and distributing products
- Availability to work Monday through Friday shifts from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
- Flexibility to change and adapt to new ways of doing things

Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combinations of education and experience
- Some knowledge of merchandise or willingness to learn about merchandise merchandising
Physical Requirements
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds; team lifts or mechanical assistance required for heavier loads
- Able to operate a manual pallet jack after adequate training
