What will you be doing?
- Execute menu production by accurately following recipes and cooking methods.
- Memorize and apply food presentation standards and production specifications.
- Prepare and cook dishes to meet guest specifications, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Properly label, date, and store all ingredients and prepared food items.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, meeting health and chef standards.
- Monitor business volume and adjust station setup to meet demands efficiently.
- Communicate needs, deficiencies, and changes to the executive chef or supervisor promptly.
- Support team members with workload management and assist as needed.
- Ensure proper portion sizes and prevent product spoilage.
- Close kitchen shifts following established procedures and assist in preparing staff meals.
- Prepare portions of Staff Meal for Employee Cafeteria.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experienced line cook with basic knife skills and strong multitasking abilities.
- Thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with a positive attitude.
- Effective communicator with culinary team, supervisors, stewarding, and service staff.
- Team player willing to accept direction from chefs and management.
- Proficient in reading client orders and special requests from Micros printer in English.
- Knowledgeable in kitchen equipment and food products used daily.
- Willing to work all stations and shifts, with a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
- Maintains professionalism and a positive demeanor, prioritizing client satisfaction.
