Essential Functions
- Benefits Administration for all associates
- Open Enrollment
- Associate resource for all benefits questions
- Tracking and entering of all benefits data into People Soft
- Informational meetings for associates
- Monthly premium statements
- Monthly union billing statements
- Quarterly hours report
- Annual benefits fair
- Facilitate and execute all company and property wellness initiatives/programs
- Monitor Safety Committees
- Coordinate Leave of Absence process
- Coordinate the termination process
- Coordinate the Worker’s Compensation process
- Coordinate the Reasonable Accommodations process
- Assist with new hire orientations as assigned
- Assist with training needs as necessary
- Compliance of departmental training requirements (safety related)
- Associate events as assigned
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Previous experience in an HR Department within the Hospitality Industry preferred.
- Previous experience with benefits highly desired. 2-4 year College Degree preferably in Business, HR Management, or Hospitality.
- Working knowledge of Federal, State and local laws and regulations.
- Must be customer service minded.
- Able to multi-task.
- Strong organizational skills necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to include both written and verbal.
- Desire to continue with growth within HR field.
