About the Role
As an Insurance Producer, you’ll play a key role in the agency’s growth by engaging with prospects, understanding their insurance needs, and recommending policies that provide the right protection. This is a client‑focused, consultative sales role—ideal for someone who enjoys meaningful conversations, problem‑solving, and helping others make confident decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify insurance needs through conversations with prospects and clients
- Recommend and sell Farmers auto, home, renters, umbrella, and life insurance products
- Provide clear, friendly guidance to help clients understand their coverage options
- Handle inbound and outbound prospect inquiries with professionalism and empathy
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long‑term retention
- Follow up with leads, manage a sales pipeline, and meet production goals
- Maintain compliance with Farmers underwriting guidelines and state regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and development to strengthen product and sales knowledge
