Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an IT MSP Help Desk technician at Marcus Networking Inc. located in Tempe, AZ. This Level 1-2 Help Desk professional will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT support tasks including, but not limited to: network administration, troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring network security, and providing excellent customer service. The role also involves coordinating with different teams to ensure seamless IT operations.
Responsibilities are listed, but not limited to:
- Technician fields all Help Desk inquiries (telephone calls, e-mails)
- Technician creates the initial record of the request
- Technician works with other Network Technicians to resolve inquiry
- Recommend hardware and software improvements
- Track customer issues and resolutions
- Rotational OnCall after-hours support
Qualifications:
- Positive and Professional demeanor: Reliable, Responsible, Eager to Work
- Experience in Network Administration and Network Security
- Strong Information Technology and Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security , Microsoft) are a plus
- Experience in a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment is advantageous
- One year IT Help Desk support experience
- Previous experience in low-voltage cabling is beneficial
