What will you be doing?
- Meet and greet guests as they arrive. Ensure even distribution of tables for each server.
- Escort guests to tables, hand them menus, wine list, and inform guests of specials.
- Receive, record, and make any necessary arrangements for reservations and special functions in the restaurant.
- Verbally communicate to server the table number sat and the number of guests.
- Beverage table if needed and/or time allows.
- Clean and display proper menus before, during, and after shift.
- Assist with all to-go orders.
- Assist wait staff and bus staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned per Manager.
- No prior experience required; hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy and provide proactive solutions.
- Proficient in English for guest requests, memos, and reservations.
- Ability to work POS system and cash handling experience preferred.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted on occasion as well as move through crowded rooms to seat guests.
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote a variety of menu items.
