What You Will Be Doing

• Collaborate with Banquet Chefs and culinary team members to prepare and execute high-volume food production for banquets, special events, and catered functions while meeting service timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare, cook, and present menu items accurately and efficiently in accordance with standardized recipes, portion controls, and food safety guidelines.
• Utilize production schedules, prep sheets, and banquet event orders (BEOs) to ensure the appropriate quantity and quality of ingredients are prepared for scheduled functions.
• Maintain a high level of consistency in food quality, taste, presentation, and portioning to ensure an exceptional guest dining experience.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels, properly store and label products, and communicate supply needs to support efficient banquet operations and minimize waste.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Possess understanding of food safety requirements with the ability to maintain compliance in a high-volume kitchen environment
• Ability to consistently follow recipes, production sheets, and portion guidelines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines
• Possess the physical ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
• Flexibility to work varying schedules based on banquet needs
