Spine Surgeon (Neurosurgery or Orthopedic Spine) opportunity in beautiful Montana!! We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible **Spine Surgeon** with training in either **Neurosurgery** or **Orthopedic Spine Surgery** to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the diagnosis, surgical treatment, and management of spinal disorders, including degenerative spine disease, trauma, tumors, deformities, and complex spinal reconstruction. This role requires advanced surgical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree. Completion of an accredited residency in Neurosurgery or Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship training in Spine Surgery (required). Board certified or board eligible in Neurosurgery or Orthopedic Surgery. Valid and unrestricted medical license in [Montana/Region]. Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities. Proven experience in spinal surgery and patient care. Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to evidence-based care Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in minimally invasive and robotic-assisted spine surgery. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 2 years of post-fellowship experience in Spine Surgery Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and diagnose spinal conditions through patient history, physical exams, and diagnostic imaging (X-rays, MRI, CT scans). Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including both surgical and non-surgical options. Perform complex spinal surgeries such as: - Spinal fusion - Discectomy - Laminectomy - Spinal decompression - Minimally invasive spine surgery Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including pain management and rehabilitation planning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including Pain Management Physicians, neurologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and physical therapists. Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, surgical risks, and recovery expectations. Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation including electronic medical records system. Stay current with advancements in spinal surgery techniques and technologies. Multiple APP's for clinical and surgical support Participate in on-call to provide emergency spine care, including surgical interventions and consultations, during evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Excellent surgical skills and knowledge of the latest advancements in orthopedic spine surgery
