Overview:
The Automotive Electronics Installer/Technician is a key role in our workforce. Our Installer/Technicians works directly with customers in the field to provide assembly, installation, and maintenance services with a variety of different communications and surveillance equipment. Our growing business gives you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge and receive training from our experienced Installers/Technicians.
Responsibilities:
The installation of two-way radios and accessories, dash cameras, GPS trackers, emergency lights and other equipment in all types of vehicles, including: police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, construction vehicles, etc.
- Work performed onsite at customer locations (indoor/outdoor) and at our facility
- Working directly with clients on their radio/camera/GPS systems
- Provide hands-on installation and troubleshooting for mobile radio, camera, GPS, etc related installs
- Programming subscriber units such as mobile, portable, and base station radios.
- Working inside of vehicles: running wires, mounting antennas, documenting all work performed
- Working independently while receiving support and training when needed.
- Positive customer service attitude when working with clients
Qualifications:
- 2 years experience in a related field such as electrical, electronics, surveillance/access control, cellular, automotive, etc
- Understanding and applying automotive concepts
- Experience with 12V power systems
- Ability to install accessories and electronics into vehicles
- Attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
