Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Retail Pharmacy)
Location: Manchester, TN
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time (25–40 hours/week)
Schedule / Hours
- Mon–Fri: 9:00am–6:00pm
- Sat: 9:00am–1:00pm (Closed Sunday)
- Team members typically work 8:30am until ~15–20 minutes after close
- Saturday rotation: typically less than one Saturday per month
- Hours of operation do NOT equal the times you are required to work. This will be discussed in the interview process

Responsibilities
- Provide patient-focused support in a community/retail pharmacy setting (in person, phone, and workflow coordination)
- Resolve insurance issues, rejections, and coverage problems; assist with prior-authorization-type follow-up as needed
- Prescription entry / data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
- Prescription filling support and workflow coordination (accuracy-first)
- Use pharmacy systems and tools including PioneerRx, Parata Max 2 Pro, RapidPak packaging, and Icon workflow tools
- Communicate clearly with pharmacists and teammates to support safe, efficient workflow
- Opportunity to support immunizations in a clinic-style environment (based on training/role fit)
Requirements
- Tennessee Pharmacy Technician registration required (can be obtained upon hire; we’ll walk you through it—fingerprints background check)
- Must be able to pass the National Certification Exam (PTCB or equivalent)
- Ability to stand for most of the shift
- Focused at work (low distraction expected); team-oriented attitude
