Job Title: Business Development & Marketing Coordinator
Location: South Florida (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami-Dade)
Travel Required: Yes – throughout Florida
About the Role
We are a growing engineering firm seeking a high-energy, outgoing, and highly organized Business Development & Marketing Coordinator to join our team.
This is a client-facing growth role combining business development support, marketing execution, event coordination, and digital presence management.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being both in the field and behind the scenes.
This is a long-term growth position for someone who wants to develop into a future Business Development Manager. We are looking for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable interacting with clients and partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain CRM and track leads, contacts, and opportunities
- Update and manage proposal pipeline.
- Plan and coordinate events (expos, CEUs, networking events, lunch & learns)
- Attend events across Florida and represent the company
- Manage social media (LinkedIn & Instagram & FB) including posting and content coordination
- Capture photos/videos at events and project sites
- Support marketing materials (presentations, brochures)
- Follow up with leads after events (email outreach and tracking)
- Maintain vendor and partner relationships
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, coordination, or business development
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Comfortable attending events and building relationships
- Experience with social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset (“ready to go” attitude)
Bonus Points
- Experience in engineering, construction, or professional services
- Familiarity with CRM systems or Trello
- Event planning experience
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance
- Willingness to travel throughout Florida
- Ability to attend occasional evening and weekend networking events
