Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of the food industry. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations while ensuring high standards of food safety, customer service, and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company policies.
• Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a motivated team.
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Utilize POS system for cash handling and sales tracking.
• Develop and manage budgets, analyzing financial performance to drive profitability.
• Supervise kitchen management and food production processes to ensure quality and consistency.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly.
• Lead shift management activities, ensuring all staff are performing their duties effectively.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.

Skills

• Proven experience in restaurant management or similar roles within the food industry.
• Strong background in food preparation and food handling practices.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff through training & development initiatives.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes and budgeting practices.
• Experience in quick service & fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
• Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
