Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items quickly and accurately according to established recipes and safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process customer orders efficiently
• Manage customer transactions at the register, including cash handling, processing credit/debit payments, and issuing receipts
• Provide friendly, attentive service to guests, taking orders and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food safety management by following proper handling procedures and ensuring cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas
• Support team members with bussing tables, restocking supplies, and maintaining sanitation standards across the restaurant

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing and cash register operations
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently without compromising quality
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order management
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to health regulations
• Retail sales experience or grocery store background is a plus for understanding product presentation and upselling techniques
