Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary business consultant for an assigned portfolio of franchisees, building trusted partnerships that support long-term business success.
- Conduct regular Franchise Business Reviews to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and establish measurable business goals.
- Develop strategic action plans with franchisees focused on increasing sales, profitability, operational excellence, and portfolio growth.
- Provide ongoing coaching and accountability through regular follow-up discussions and performance reviews.
- Analyze restaurant performance metrics, financial results, and operational data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Translate business insights into actionable recommendations that help franchisees improve performance.
- Monitor progress toward established goals and adjust action plans as business needs evolve.
- Coach franchisees on delivering a consistent, safe, and high-quality guest experience aligned with Marco's brand standards.
- Conduct restaurant visits to evaluate operations, identify opportunities, and provide hands-on coaching.
- Partner with the Operations Excellence team to support restaurant assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support franchisees throughout new restaurant openings, relocations, remodels, and expansion projects.
- Partner with Real Estate and Construction teams to monitor project milestones and ensure operational readiness.
- Coordinate with the Field Training team to identify training opportunities and support operational development.
- Partner with Marketing to support successful product launches, promotions, and local marketing initiatives.
- Facilitate communication between franchisees and internal departments to ensure timely support and resolution of business needs.
- Build strong partnerships across Operations, Marketing, Training, Real Estate, Construction, Finance, and other support teams.
- Manage travel and departmental expenses within established budgets.
- Maintain accurate documentation, business reviews, and required reports.
- Complete administrative responsibilities accurately and within established timelines.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 4-6 years of business, operations, or restaurant leadership experience required
- Multi-unit restaurant, franchise, or QSR experience preferred
- Previous owner/operator experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) industry.
- Solid understanding of business planning, financial performance, marketing, training, human resources, and restaurant development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret business metrics and identify opportunities.
- Excellent relationship-building and coaching abilities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with diverse audiences.
- Ability to influence without direct authority.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Demonstrated customer service mindset with both internal and external partners.
- Approximately 50% travel required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to travel by commercial airline as needed.
