Shift Leader

The Shift Lead at Marco's Pizza plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations during their designated shifts. Responsible for overseeing staff and maintaining high service standards, the Shift Lead contributes to creating a positive dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Supervision: Manage and lead the team effectively during shifts, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Customer Service: Uphold excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Order Management: Oversee order accuracy, preparation, and timely delivery, maintaining consistency in product quality.
• Staff Coordination: Schedule and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring efficient workflow and a well-organized shift.
• Training: Train new staff members on company policies, procedures, and service standards to maintain a cohesive and knowledgeable team.
• Quality Control: Monitor food quality and presentation, adhering to established standards to meet customer expectations.
• Cash Handling: Manage cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and ensure proper accounting procedures are followed.
• Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory levels, place orders as needed, and manage stock to prevent shortages during shifts.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce safety and sanitation standards, conducting regular checks to ensure a clean and hazard-free working environment.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve operational issues or conflicts that may arise during the shift, fostering a positive and collaborative team atmosphere.
• Closing Procedures: Supervise the closing procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and the restaurant is ready for the next shift.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with other shift leads, managers, and staff to facilitate a seamless transition between shifts and ensure everyone is well-informed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent leadership and motivational skills and strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills.
• Excellent problem resolution and Guest recovery skills.
• The ability to remain positive and calm under stressful conditions.
• A strong commitment to serving others.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $16.00 per hour
