What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Specialist position at MARCO Promos LLC?
Purpose
Develop and execute on integrated email marketing plan that generates awareness, drives acquisition, and inspires retention. While much of the role will be within the digital space, some responsibilities will be within traditional marketing planning as well as database management. Emails are deployed through the HubSpot database, and the creative process managed internally within Monday.com. Exceptional critical thinking, problem solving skills as well as the desire to learn new technology are a must.
Responsibilities
● Primary responsibilities within HubSpot include Email coding, testing, proofing and scheduling as well as creation of marketing codes and managing data uploads.
● Recommends, develops, and implements strategies for customer acquisition, retention, reactivation, cross promotions, and lead generation.
● Develops and manages elements, or specific channels, of marketing twelve-month schedules, forecasts, and budgets.
● Identifies and implements subscriber communication opportunities to increase retention, site usage and overall engagement.
● Generates list specifications for promotions. Researches, identifies, and tests lists, ensuring optimization of lists based on promotion objectives.
● Tracks promotion results based on varying promotion objectives. Responsible for changing plans based on results, including rollout decisions, and stopping or modifying declining promotions.
● Performs analyses of promotions and user experience using available tools such Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Google Merchant Center, SEMRush, GT Metrix, and other resources.
● Responsible for defining the analysis objectives, understanding the data, performing analysis, presenting results and effectiveness, and modifying plans based on results.
● Implement campaign assets connected to the AWS Website platform; including but not limited to:
○ Landing Pages
○ Microsites
○ New and existing template design and updates
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
· 3 years marketing experience, preferably in a direct response environment.
· Business-to-Business marketing experience preferred.
· Experience working with web analytic tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot and Monday.com
· Basic HTML/CSS, BootStrap and jQuery/JavaScript and/or any of the following a plus
o Google Ads Display Certification
o Google Ads Search Certification
o Google Ads Display Certification
o Google Ads Video Certification
o Shopping Ads Certification
o Google Ads Measurement Certification
o Google Tag Manager Fundamentals
o Google Analytics Individual Qualification

- Ability to strategically assess the needs of the marketplace and make decisions based on the findings.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to integrate plans with multiple areas.
- Ability to perform analysis of promotions, margins, target audiences, and purchasing patterns.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks.
- Demonstrated written, creative, and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
Work will be performed primarily in a standard office environment, at our corporate headquarters in Oshkosh, WI. Work involves operation of personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Occasional travel to customer sites and/or industry and training events may also be required, depending on assignment.
