What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pizza Maker/Delivery Driver position at Marco Polo Pizza?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and quality standards
- Monitor food stock levels and replenish ingredients as needed
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and sanitized at all times
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables and preparing dough
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders and addressing customer inquiries
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment
- Strong time management skills to ensure orders are prepared in a timely manner
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle customer complaints or concerns
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and procedures
