Roll-Off Driver Class A or B

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Roll-Off Driver with Class A or B commercial driver’s license to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate various types of trucks—including front loader, roll-off, dump trucks, to transport waste containers and materials efficiently and safely. Your expertise in heavy lifting, vehicle operation, and load management will ensure timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be an essential part of a fast-paced logistics operation dedicated to environmental responsibility and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and ASL trucks to load, transport, and unload waste containers and materials.
• Load and unload containers using mechanical knowledge of truck mechanisms and manual handling techniques.
• Drive heavy-duty vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions across various routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning of brakes, lights, tires, hydraulic systems, and other critical components.
• Coordinate with dispatch to plan routes efficiently for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Assist with loading or securing cargo on flatbeds or other truck types when necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, load details, inspections, and delivery documentation in compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Proven experience operating heavy trucks such as roll-off trucks, front loaders, rear loaders, dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers.
• Mechanical knowledge of truck systems including hydraulic lifts, dump mechanisms, and load securing equipment.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for loading/unloading containers or materials.
• Experience in commercial driving with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Strong understanding of load & unload procedures for various container types.
