What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare/ Evening Boarding/Morning Boarding Attendant (West Salem) position at Marcie's Pet Spa?
We are looking for hard-working, positive, kind, dog-loving, and responsible people to join our doggy daycare and boarding staff! If you want to join a team of fun, friendly dog-enthusiasts, we want to meet you!
-Looking to hire either full-time or part-time employees.
-Dog experience is preferred but not required.
-Candidates should be at least 16 years of age, and must love all dogs (and cats!) of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments; patience is a must!
-General job responsibilities are as follows:
- Monitoring all dogs and their behavior within the daycare setting, and intervening as needed if inappropriate behavior occurs
- Ensuring the safety and comfort of all daycare and boarding pets
- Communicating with clients regarding their pet's behavior and any incidents/issues that occurred during their stay
- Taking photos of all daycare and boarding pets for our social media pages
- Providing food, water, and medications according to each pet's schedule and needs
- Cleaning up all waste/accidents and sanitizing the facility
- Providing lots of love, attention, and snuggles for all our fur baby guests
- Other duties as assigned/earned over time
We offer flexibility in scheduling and can split up shifts to suit the right candidate(s) schedule. Shifts are usually between 4-8 hours long. Our scheduled hours are listed below, and although we can be flexible with start and end times throughout these hours, our opening and closing shifts must adhere to these start and end shift times:
Monday-Friday
6:00 am - 8:30 pm
Saturday:
6:30 am - 9:30 pm
Sunday:
7:00 am - 8:30 pm
*Some weekend and holiday shifts are required for all employees.
