Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Machine Shop Helper to join our team. As a Machine Shop Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our machining operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of our production processes.
Duties:
- Assisting machine operator with setup and operation of CNC machines and other equipment.
- Loading and unloading materials, parts, and tools into machines.
- Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Monitoring machines during operation to ensure proper functioning.
- Performing basic machine maintenance tasks such as cleaning and lubrication.
- Inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Performing other duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the shop.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times.
Requirements:
- Mechanical knowledge to work effectively with tools and equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- No prior machine shop experience required
