Job Description:
Our organization is looking for a Spanish Bilingual Claims Adjuster/Negotiator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the claims process, including verifying and processing claims, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
Under direct supervision of the law firm attorneys, the Claims Adjuster/Negotiator assists in facilitating negotiations and engaging in conflict resolution for our clients. To be successful in this position, the Claims Adjuster/Negotiator will review, analyze and determine the extent of liability for property loss, injury, loss of earnings, pain and suffering, etc. and work towards an amicable resolution outside of the court system through a mutual agreement among the parties involved, within the parameters established by the Supervising Attorney.
Responsibilities:
- Adjust liability bodily injury claims
- Negotiate claim settlements
- Determine the extent of knowledge regarding the accident/incident and obtain information about disputer issues
- Review police reports, medical treatment notes/bills, and demonstrative exhibits.
- Determine the extent of liability in order to conduct negotiations within parameters established and communicate with the Supervising Attorney for approval
- Investigate and assess damage to property and connect with clients to assist with their property damage issues.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience adjusting liability bodily injury claims (Required)
- 2 years of experience in handling Motor Vehicle Accident Claims (Required)
- Bilingual proficiency in English & Spanish, both written and spoken. The ideal candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in both languages with clients, team members, and stakeholders. (Required)
- Experience in investigating and assessing damage to property and connecting with clients to assist with their property damage issues.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of injuries, medical records and bills
- Knowledge of laws affecting property damage, rentals, and diminished value.
- Experience interviewing and corresponding with witnesses such as passengers, police officers, third-party witnesses
- Experience reviewing police reports, medical treatment notes/bills, and demonstrative exhibits.
- Knowledge of computers and office equipment such as copiers, scanners, and phone systems.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
