We are looking for highly motivated and experienced sales associates on a full-time basis for our Ellington Connecticut location (with ability to also work out of our West Hartford location) 4with a proven track record of success to join our dynamic and expanding team. Our well-established company is committed to providing exceptional products and services.

As a Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our success and establish a rewarding career in sales. You will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and contributing to the overall success of the store. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, answering inquiries, and guiding them through the selection and purchase process. The ideal candidate will be dependable, personable, knowledgeable about our products, and dedicated to creating a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities:

• Engage customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance and product knowledge.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective customer engagement and product promotion.
• Utilize sales techniques to identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
• Process transactions accurately through our Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain a neat and organized sales floor.
• Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Help maintain a clean and organized showroom floor.
• Help with floor product planning.
• Assist with sales campaigns and special events.
• Coordinating product training with brand representatives.

Requirements

• Customer Service and Sales skills
• Product Knowledge of home appliances and the ability to stay updated on new products and trends
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and Conflict Resolution skills
• Basic Computer and Point-of-Sale (POS) system skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day Shift
• Weekend Availability
