WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles according to dealership and manufacturer standards while delivering the quality our customers expect.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform repairs accurately and efficiently according to repair orders and manufacturer standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns and determine the cause of vehicle failures
- Complete repairs according to all applicable safety requirements
- Road-test vehicles to verify repairs
- Accurately document work performed, diagnostic procedures, and results
- Properly record time spent on repairs
- Maintain the appropriate personal tools required for your position
- Help ensure every customer's vehicle is returned clean and properly repaired
- Communicate effectively with advisors, technicians, management, and other dealership personnel
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Prior automotive repair experience is required.
Ideal candidates will have:
- ASE and/or manufacturer certifications preferred
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities
- A positive, team-oriented attitude
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
Experience with diagnostics, brakes, alignments, diesel engines, welding, and general automotive repair is a plus.
