Job Description:

Marbridge is a long-term residential care facility for adults with intellectual disabilities, offering a full spectrum of services tailored to individual needs and abilities. We provide our residents with opportunities to learn, experience, and achieve a whole new life.

As a Driver, you’ll play a vital role in helping residents thrive by ensuring their safe and timely transportation to various destinations. The Driver is responsible for operating Marbridge-provided vehicles to transport residents and staff to locations such as work sites, medical appointments, airports, bus stations, and other essential destinations. In addition to passenger transport, this role will include delivering items between Marbridge campuses, including mail, supplies, and interoffice communications.

Shifts Available :

• Tuesday – Saturday, 9:45pm – 6:00am
• Saturday & Sunday, 5:45am – 10:00pm

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Texas Driver’s License with a clean driving record, must be at least 21 years old
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with mental or physical challenges in a residential setting
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Professional, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking with excellent problem-solving and customer service abilities
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Marbridge vehicles, perform pre- and post-shift inspections, and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow daily procedures including reading shift logs, checking in with supervisors, and maintaining communication throughout transport tasks.
• Transport residents and staff to scheduled destinations while supervising and supporting resident behavior during trips.
• Handle mail pickups, interoffice deliveries, and ensure timely arrival of residents and items across campuses.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, enforce usage policies, and document incidents or resident concerns as needed.
