Job Summary
Systems administrator is responsible to the installation, configuration, maintenance and support of the organizations ERP, EDI and other systems. This role ensures reliable data exchange between internal applications and external trading partners while maintaining high standards of systems security, performance and compliance. Duties
- v Systems Administration, Administer and maintain servers, networks, operating systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- v EDI Operations Management, oversee daily EDI transaction processing, including monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving transmission on mapping errors.
- v Trading Partner Configuration, Establish and maintain communication protocols and coordinate onboarding with vendors, customers and logistics partners.
- v ERP Integration support, Maintain EDI Workflows within ERP (sfera) systems and collaborate with functional teams to support order processing, invoicing and shipping operations.
- v System Monitoring & Incident Response, monitor system health, respond to alerts, and perform root‑cause analysis for infrastructure and EDI‑related issues.
- v Security & Compliance, implement and maintain secure data transmission standards, user access controls, and compliance with organizational and industry requirements.
- v Automation & Scripting, develop scripts and tools to automate recurring tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- v Documentation, create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, EDI maps, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
- v Cross‑Functional Collaboration, work closely with IT, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to support business processes and resolve system‑related issues.
Qualifications
- v Bachelor degree on programing or systems administration.
- v 5 years of experience including EDI tools and formats.
- v EDI Standards Knowledge Experience with data formats.
- v EDI Tools, proficiency with EDI translation and mapping platforms (e.g., Cleo, Boomi, ReposiTrak, SPS Commerce, True Commerce).
- v Server & OS Administration, strong background in Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
- v Networking Fundamentals, knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs, and secure communication protocols.
- v Scripting & Automation, experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
- v Database Skills, ability to perform SQL queries and support basic database administration.
- v Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
