The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Real Estate Operations Manager to be the backbone of our deal execution. This is an ops-first role with finance literacy — you’ll own borrower intake, document management, CRM tracking, and deal process end-to-end, while also supporting with clean underwriting packages that go to lenders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own borrower onboarding: send checklists, collect documents, keep files organized.
- Manage deal flow in CRM: log lender responses, track follow-ups (3/7/14 days), and keep pipeline clean.
- Assemble underwriting packages: basic Excel (rent roll, DSCR/LTV, Sources & Uses) polished narratives.
- Draft borrower and lender updates; coordinate all communications.
- Maintain strict naming conventions, version control, and document accuracy.
- Refine and improve SOPs, checklists, and templates to scale the business.
What We’re Looking For
- 2–5 years in commercial real estate finance operations, credit, or underwriting support.
- Strong organizational and process discipline — you like keeping things airtight.
- Excel literacy (DSCR, Sources & Uses; comfort updating models).
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
- Proactive in chasing docs and following up without reminders.
- Detail-obsessed and deadline-reliable.
Success in 90 Days
- Deals move from intake to lender blast on a defined cadence.
- CRM and folders are clean, current, and complete.
- Underwriting packages need minimal rework before going out.
