Responsibilities:
- Complete customer orders with accuracy and consistency
- Clean kitchen equipment and tools
- Assist in maintaining inventory and cleanliness in the ice cream serving area.
- Prepare custom-made desserts based on customers’ preferences.
- Making an Ice cream and dipping cones and waffles.
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Excellent time-management skills
- Use electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations
Job Requirements:
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and inviting manner
- Working under pressure and being a team player. (Mandatory requirement).
- Ability to issue receipts, refunds, or change orders if necessary
- Ability to cross-sell products and introduce new ones
- Ability to resolve customer complaints and guide them/provide relevant information
- Work experience as a retail cashier or in a similar role preferred
- Guest service skills
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication skills
