Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and cooking equipment to ensure a smooth operation in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing food service areas as needed
- Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and prep work under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
- Support catering, banquet, or event setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with food service support
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to uphold sanitation standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for service periods
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or catering environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food handling, cleaning protocols, and basic kitchen operations is advantageous
- Experience in bussing, food preparation, or culinary roles can enhance performance in this position
- Prior hospitality or restaurant experience including serving or banquet work is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
