Duties
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and integrity
- Assist customers with product questions, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring efficient merchandising and stocking of products
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering inquiries professionally, and managing phone etiquette
- Support inventory management through stock checks, merchandising displays, and replenishing shelves as needed
- Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly demeanor
Experience
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions accurately
- Experience supervising or leading a team is a plus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on clear, courteous interaction both in person and over the phone
