Scrum Master - TS/SCI Required - Beavercreek, Ohio
This role is a part of the Insite contract, a $406 million contract awarded by the Air Force Research Laboratory.
Description:
Lead one or more Agile teams delivering complex products within an enterprise or government environment. The Scrum Master facilitates Scrum ways of working, drives continuous improvement using data, and partners closely with Product, Program, and Release Train leadership to deliver predictable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, Retrospective).
- Remove impediments quickly; escalate and coordinate resolution across teams/functions as needed.
- Coach the team and Product Owner on Agile/Scrum practices, value delivery, and flow.
- Track and report delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, throughput, cycle time, predictability) and use data to drive improvements.
- Administer and optimize Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence); maintain boards, backlogs, dashboards, and working agreements.
- Manage risks, issues, and dependencies; maintain RAID/issue logs and drive mitigation actions.
- Coordinate with Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Program/Project Manager on PI planning, cross-team dependencies, and delivery commitments.
- Promote transparency and collaboration across engineering, product, QA, cybersecurity/compliance, and operations.
- Support governance, contract deliverables, and audit/reporting needs as required in regulated environments.
Qualifications:
- TS/SCI Security Clearance
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile delivery lead supporting enterprise or government programs.
- Active Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM or PSM I).
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum; experience in scaled delivery environments (e.g., supporting PI Planning/ART ceremonies).
- Proficiency with Jira and Confluence (boards, workflows, dashboards, reporting).
- Demonstrated ability to use metrics to improve team predictability and delivery outcomes.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional and distributed teams and remove impediments.
Salary : $135,000 - $155,000
