Business Analyst / Project Manager
Position Type: Contract/Full Time
Location: Arlington, VA area
Work Arrangement: Hybrid, approximately 50% remote
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to support a variety of business and technology initiatives. This role combines project coordination, requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and cross-functional collaboration to help ensure projects are delivered effectively.
The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with at least 1-2 days per week onsite. Candidates must be within commuting distance of the Arlington, VA area and must be U.S. citizens.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage multiple projects and initiatives from planning through implementation.
- Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Support user acceptance testing and coordinate testing activities.
- Maintain project documentation and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Assist with Agile and traditional project management activities.
- Help teams identify challenges, prioritize work, and maintain progress toward project goals.
Qualifications
- 8–13 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in business analysis, project management, or a combination of both.
- Experience gathering requirements and managing projects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- A relevant bachelor's degree is required. Additional related experience may be considered in place of a directly applicable degree.
- Business analysis or project management certifications are a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and meet eligibility requirements for a Public Trust background investigation.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
