Marathon Electrical Contractors is seeking an experienced Safety Professional with electrical construction knowledge to support long-term projects in the Montgomery/Hope Hull, Alabama area.

- BCSP Certification (STSC, CHST, or equivalent)
- OSHA 30 (minimum) in the last 3 years
- At least 3 years of construction safety experience
- Dependable with a strong work history
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Electrical construction safety experience
- Additional BCSP certifications (CSP, ASP, etc.)
- OSHA 500 or 510
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification
- Experience conducting incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Familiarity with NFPA 70E and electrical safety standards
- Experience with contractor/subcontractor safety coordination
- Strong report writing and documentation skills
- Experience using digital safety management or reporting systems
- Previous experience supporting large-scale or industrial construction projects
- Conduct site inspections (fire extinguishers, ladders, fall protection, eyewash stations, etc.)
- Perform site safety audits
- Facilitate new-hire safety orientation and training as needed
- Track and maintain all onsite employee training certifications
- Perform field safety observations
- Conduct hands-on equipment evaluations (MEWP, forklifts, etc.)
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of construction safety terminology and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Motivated, adaptable, and technologically savvy
