What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jewelry Tool Maker/Wire EDM Operator position at Marathon Company?
Marathon is seeking an experienced jewelry tool maker. Duties to include production of single operation and progressive jewelry tooling experience with lockets a plus, candidate will be proficient in conventional tool room machinery to include mill, grinder and conventional EDM. Wire EDM experience with Esprit CAD/CAM a plus. Will train the right candidate with any tool making background.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the relationship between dies and presses within the manufacturing process.
- Has the ability to work to close tolerances with strong attention to detail.
- Has solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Works independently with minimal supervision and as part of a production team.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.
- Has strong organizational skills.
