Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, adherence to safety standards, and precise measurements. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment, including CNC machines, stamping presses, and fabrication tools, contributing directly to our manufacturing excellence.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate various machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses to meet production specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
- Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow.
- Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures, conducting routine inspections, and ensuring the workspace is hazard-free.
- Utilize shop math skills for calculations related to material dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings.
- Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, packaging finished products, and basic assembly tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machines (including CNC programming and CAM programming), stamping presses, press brake machines, or similar industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SolidWorks CAD software, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems.
- Ability to read shop math and perform precise measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
- Experience with factory or manufacturing facility operations, including materials handling and warehouse procedures.
- Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and commitment to maintaining a safe workspace.
- Hands-on experience with welding, assembly line processes, tooling setup, or fabrication is a plus.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts is desirable but not mandatory.
