Marathon Cheese Corp (MCC) is currently seeking a friendly and outgoing Customer Service Representative to join our team in Marathon, WI. As a CSR with Marathon Cheese you will be a front line ambassador for all MCC customers. Key duties include handling internal and external emails and phone calls and directing communication amongst internal departments. Essential skills are: excellent written and oral communication, critical thinking, problem solving, patience, empathy and most importantly being a team player. You will report the Customer Service Supervisor and be part of a growing department with endless opportunity.
- Customer order management, including order entry
- External communication with customers; coordinating order changes and reporting missed shipments
- Internal communication with production personnel such as production schedulers and shipping departments at all 4 locations to give customers a smooth experience
- Work closely with Business Development on internal new customer and new item setup processes
- Internal communication of customer discontinuation of items or business as needed
- Prepare internal documents for billing obsolete packaging and customer credits
- Coordinate the communication of customer complaints for investigation and response
- Working in various customer portals for order management
- Any additional duties as assigned

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service experience and experience working in SAP operating system is preferred
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Basic computation
- Self-starter who can work independently or within a group
- Strong attention to detail
- Accuracy and proficiency in typing and data entry
- Comfortable with troubleshooting
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and co-workers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills. Able to prioritize tasks on the fly
- Experience using SAP operating system a plus
- Team player. Be ready to jump in where needed during the day and learn all positions to backup for department PTO
- Familiarity with Microsoft products: Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint

Work Environment
The job functions are performed in office settings requiring normal safety precautions. This is a full time 40/hour work week and there is seldom any overtime. As Customer Service is an essential department, there may be occasional siturations that would requrie you to work remote.
