Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Concrete Mixer Driver with a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment and drive commercial vehicles to deliver and pour concrete at various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure timely, efficient, and precise concrete delivery, supporting the successful completion of paving, concrete forming, and other foundational projects. Responsibilities
- Safely operate concrete mixer trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport concrete materials to designated sites
- Coordinate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure timely delivery schedules are met
- Assist with the setup and operation of concrete pumping equipment and related machinery on-site
- Conduct routine inspections of trucks, mixers, and heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, and dump trucks to ensure proper functioning
- Support construction activities including rebar installation, concrete finishing, paving, and formwork as needed
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, safety documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries on site
Skills
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dump trucks, and concrete pumps
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixer operation and maintenance procedures
- Construction site experience with familiarity in concrete forming, rebar installation, paving, and finishing techniques
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues quickly and efficiently
- Ability to perform precise loader operation and assist with material handling on-site
- Knowledge of safety standards related to commercial driving and construction environments
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and site personnel
