What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at Marano Eye Care?
- Must have knowledge of ocular anatomy, medical terminology
- Must work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude
- Must have strong organizational and communication skills
- Will be responsible for obtaining a comprehensive patient history and complete work up of eye exam
- Will perform testing (i.e. visual field, oct, fundus photos)
- Administer topical ophthalmic medications
- Act as a scribe
- Patient education and counseling
