Marannook is a 177-acre Christian residential summer camp and year-round ministry located in Lafayette, Alabama. For over 50 years, we have discipled college students and served campers summer programs, equipping people to know God and His word. With nearly 700 active donors, Marannook is debt-free and a thriving, mission-driven organization.

Position Summary

Marannook is seeking a relational, detail-oriented Donor & Grant Coordinator to join our team. This is a part time position responsible for growing and stewarding our individual donor base, expanding our grant portfolio, and coordinating donor-focused marketing and communication. This role works directly with the Executive Director and is central to sustaining and expanding Marannook’s impact and will be a hybrid remote/in person role. The person is for someone who is self motivated and able to work both independently and as a team while interacting with both data and people on a regular basis.

Required • A growing relationship with Jesus Christ • Alignment with Marannook and desire to advance the mission and vision of the ministry • Alignment and agreement with our doctrinal beliefs and values • Experience in nonprofit management, communications, marketing, or related field • Excellent written communication skills — ability to write compelling narratives for diverse audiences • Experience with donor CRM platforms (Bloomerang preferred) • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills • Valid driver's license • Ability to pass a criminal background check • U.S. work eligibility and high school diploma or equivalent • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position, able to lift 25 pounds

Preferred • Experience in Christian ministry or camping context • Demonstrated fruit in similar or related role • Familiarity with giving cultivation and planned giving basics • Volunteer management experience
