Marvals Sentry Market is looking for a Freight Manager to join our team.
The Freight Manager will be responsible for preparing, stocking, and ordering products in the store, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining cleanliness of the store and grounds. Typically Hours are from 2am - 1030am or 5am - 2pm.
Pay is based on experience. $ $22 an hour
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule. Some nights and weekends required.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- A valid driver's license is required for this position.
A positive attitude is a must
Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, prepare, and stock products as needed in the store, including removing stock from bags and placing it on shelves, pallets, etc.
- Assist customers with product selections, including taste and price comparisons.
- Maintain cleanliness of store and grounds.
- Operate a point-of-sale system to process customer orders.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- Grocery Ordering Experience through UNFI, KEHE, and C&S very helpful
- Inventory Management of the Grocery Department
- Ability to order through multiple vendors, organize and understand gross profit margins, and have an understanding of product assortment for the Nice area
