Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in meat cutting or a related food preparation role.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in meat cutting or food handling.
- Experience working in a retail or grocery store environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Cut, trim, and prepare meat products according to company standards and customer requests.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the meat cutting area and equipment to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist customers by answering questions, providing product recommendations, and fulfilling special orders.
- Manage inventory by receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and ensuring proper storage of meat products.
- Operate slicing and cutting machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety protocols.
