Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Ensure that all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations and standards.
• Support cooks and chefs in various tasks as needed during meal service.
• Stock supplies and ingredients as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service periods.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
