What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tire Technician position at Mar-Bar Tire Service, Inc.?
We're looking for a Tire Technician to provide expert tire services to customers. As a tire technician, you will install, repair and replace tires and perform regular maintenance on passenger vehicle tires. We are looking for a Tire Technician who can work independently as well as in a team environment. You should be mechanically inclined with working knowledge of how a vehicle operates. The job requires low-impact physical movements and work is performed while you are outside.
Responsibilities:
- Perform tire mounting, balancing, rotation and repair.
- Use tools to determine tire tread depth, tire pressure and proper spare tire inflation.
- Make adjustment to wheels to align for proper carriage.
- Inspect and maintain mechanical components, such as valves and valve stems.
- Work with other technicians to perform maintenance tasks on the vehicle like suspension service, alignment and engine repair.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
