What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Utility (1st Shift) position at Mar-Bal, Inc?
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Ensures that the facility areas are always clean and free from hazardous objects or substances
- Maintain fluid levels in all equipment.
- Carryout filter cleaning and replacement
- Grease and lube equipment
- Identify and report any leaks to maintenance manager
- Cleans media as needed
- Cleans stuffers as needed
- Work in a safety conscious manner
- Maintain good housekeeping
- Maintain inventory of supplies and request reorder as required
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Obtain forklift certification
- Learn how to operator floor scrubber
- Knowledge of proper waste oil disposal
- Experience with basic hand tools
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
· LOTO certification
- Good attitude toward training and learning new skills
