What are the responsibilities and job description for the BMC Bulk Packer (3rd Shift) position at Mar-Bal?
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Follow safety and lockout equipment
- Must maintain consistent attendance
- Follows work instructions pertaining to job
- Prepares BMC for use in-plant or by outside customers by packaging in bulk
- Must be able to stand while operating
- Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 70
- Operate automated packaging station
- Maintains a clean and safe
Skill Requirements:
- Ability to read, understand and follow work
- Basic math skills specifically adding &
- Ability to understand & complete Lock Out/Tag Out Certification Exam
- Ability to set up and operate machinery / Including using specific tools to clean equipment.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding how to navigate and use a personal computer, HMI Screen, …
- Current and valid OSHA forklift operation
Tools/Equipment/Materials:
Weighing scales, hand scrapers, thermometers, etc. BMC, miscellaneous solvents for cleaning mixers, plastic bags, cardboard boxes, labels, pallets, etc.
